There is no doubt that the natural resources found in our Latin American countries have a number of uses, especially when it comes to beauty. Our countries hide ancient secrets that for generations have been the tools that our grandmothers and great-grandmothers have used to treat their skin. Therefore, nothing like visiting new countries and discovering the wonders they offer.
In a new edition of The Specials with Kika, the beauty expert went to Antigua, Guatemala where she discovered how they use some natural ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen.
“I did some beauty research to find out which ingredients are used here, natural ingredients that we also have access to in our kitchens,” says Rocha. Let us each do what it is for. These are the recipes of the famous spa of the Hotel Santo Domingo, here in Antigua, Guatemala.”
Rocha tells us about the incredible benefits of ground coffee, like those of corn mixed with sesame oil, recipes that the spa uses in its skin treatments.
“If what we need is extra hydration, this delicious scrub made from ground corn. It is ideal for the elbows, for the knees, for the heels, for all those areas that need more care and greater hydration”, explains the expert.
