As in fashion and lifestyle, in a matter of beauty, more and more are looking for more natural alternatives to chemical-filled products, be it the detergent with which you wash clothes or, why not, the lipstick that you use every day. We met with Jessica Alba in New York to talk about how she came to create her organic beauty brand, Honest Beauty, and also to discover her latest release, a liquid lipstick that promises to be the "cleanest" on the market.

"After having my first daughter and when a detergent my mother had recommended gave me an allergic reaction, I became very paranoid about the chemicals that are everywhere," she explained. "But I realized that I couldn't lead a lifestyle that was too" hippie "and away from everything."

The actress told us how she looked for natural alternatives to her beauty products, from deodorant to makeup, without finding anything at an affordable price or that really worked. So she first decided to create Honest, a company specializing in chemical-free baby and home products with organic ingredients, and 4 years ago expanded the brand to Honest Beauty, focused on makeup and skincare for adults.

"I need my makeup products to last and I love the color, I am an actress, I go to many events and I need those colors that make the look," she recognized.

The new Liquid Lipstick has a quite revolutionary formula, which uses coconut alkanes instead of Isododecane, an oil derived from petroleum that makes the product dry very quickly and is widely used in cosmetics. It also incorporates avocado to hydrate the lips while giving you a color that promises to last hours and hours, like its competitors with less natural ingredients and more chemicals.

The new range includes 7 super appetizing shades created between Daniel Martin, the brand's creative advisor, who, let's not forget, made up Meghan Markle at her wedding, Jessica Alba herself and her laboratory team with whom she maintains a close relationship. One hint, her favorite color is Goddess.

It's already on sale for $ 12.99 at drugstores and in the honest online store.
