Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls collaborates with the cosmetics firm Estée Lauder to bring her favorite matte shades to life in the brand's new lipstick: Pure Color Envy Matte.
The mannequin, who is part of the 25 most fashionable People en Español, commented in our September issue: “I love a striking matte lip, it's so chic! My favorite shade is dark cherry."
With 12 different colors, ranging from oranges to purples to intense reds, the lipsticks in the collection are light and rich in pigment, and promise full coverage in a single pass.
“It was great to collaborate with Estée Lauder on this collection. I presented them with shades that I thought would look great, and we talked about different formulas and finishes. They are perfect,”said Smalls, who has participated in all stages of lipstick creation, in a statement.

Formulated with a technology that combines different pigments with mattifying powders to provide a rich and saturated color, this new lipstick feels luxurious as well as comfortable on the lips.
The Pure Color Envy Matte Lipstick collection is available for $ 30 on the firm's website.
