To celebrate the launch of his new album, Lover, which will be released on August 23, Taylor Swift will launch a fashion line that he has created in collaboration with British designer Stella McCartney.
The singer made the news public through a live video on her Instagram account in which she explained how the idea came about.
“We have been friends for a long time and she [is] also a woman whom I respect a lot. I respect what she creates and how she does it”, she told her fans. “The clothes he designs are romantic, whimsical, original. I have been wearing a lot of her lately and she has listened to the new album and this new collaboration is inspired by the album Lover”.
This is not the first time that Swift has entered the world of fashion. A few years ago, she launched a clothing line with her name and song lyrics that went on sale online in China, where she is also a megastar.
However, this is his first collaboration with a luxury firm and catwalk with which precisely he has not been seen too much on the red carpet, where he usually opts for Balmain, Zhuair Murad or, his favorite, Versace.
Although we will still have to wait a little to see the entire collection, for the moment the artist has already put up for sale on her website a series of t-shirts and sweatshirts with the images of the album cover. Prices are between $ 35 and $ 65.
