Spring is coming and what we want is to wear fresh and radiant makeup. That is why the expert in fashion and beauty, Kika Rocha has dedicated this special to learn from makeup artist Daniel Lezama and stylist Marco Peña, responsible for creating the wonderful makeup and hairstyles that we usually see on the red carpet.
As for the foundation, Lezema started by applying foundation and recommended mixing two shades - one light and one dark - to reach your ideal shade. For eyeshadows, she used matte earth tones to add depth and light where highlighting is needed. "This is makeup that works for you during the day and you can intensify it for the night," added Rocha.
"I always mix a pink with an orange and that combination is very good", the makeup artist recommended when placing the blush on the high point of the cheeks and a little on the nose. As for the lips, Lezema outlined them a little out of their natural line to make them look plump and ended with a liquid lipstick in a nude tone.
Peña, on the other hand, dedicated himself to giving Rocha the straight and shiny hair that has been very fashionable on the catwalks. “What we did was touch up the growth of your root. I made a deposit of color to keep all this tonality”, he explained.
