Migbelis Castellanos has been in the public eye since he was very young. And it is that the beautiful Venezuelan participated in her first beauty contest, Miss Venezuela, when she was just 17 years old and then embarked on one of the greatest adventures of her life, her participation in the Miss Universe. It was that incomparable experience and of course her talent and beauty that led her to become the new queen of Nuestra Belleza Latina. That's why we wanted to talk to the presenter, who will be in charge of reporting everything that happens in the backstage of Mira who dances, so that she could tell us about everything she has learned in terms of beauty in her time in the most popular contests.

Migbelis, how do you feel now that you have become the new queen of NBL?

I'm very happy. I feel that this is a very big responsibility above all because it is not just being the queen but also being part of the talent of this important chain like Univision. I am living my dream. I'm very happy.

We know you have experience in beauty pageants, but this one was different. What did you learn in this adventure?

From this I learned that the most important thing to work on television is teamwork. There are a lot of people working behind the scenes, in production, who are supporting us. In the end, people hook us with talent as it is what they see on screen. But for you to be able to do everything you do and for people to have a good time with our participation, there is a very large team behind that dedicates itself a lot. I learned to be very patient, to tolerate different personalities because the mansion was not easy at all.

How has your beauty routine changed since you participated in your first contest?

When I participated in Miss Venezuela I started when I was 17 years old and I didn't pay much attention to face care. My mom lived on top of me [telling me], "remove your makeup, take this off, apply creams." Little by little I learned that beauty is ending, one is turning years old, the skin is falling. Now I take much more care of myself. I remove my make-up every day before sleeping and [clean my face] before putting on makeup in the morning. I learned one of the beauty tricks from one of the girls in the NBL contest. I remove mascara with coconut oil, but not with a coconut oil based cream, but with coconut oil paste. This removes softer and cares for the hairs on the eyelashes.

Do you have a homemade skin recipe?

I get a brown sugar scrub two or three times a week, depending on how much makeup I wear [on those days]. [Use] Brown sugar with water. Something that I always do in the morning is that I bought a thermal water and keep it in the fridge, and I spray myself with thermal water when I wake up or every time I open the fridge.

What product can you not miss?

I can not miss the lipstick. I have a Neutrogena product from the Hydra Boost line which is omg! I started mixing it, I put on the first one, then the Hydra Boost and then I put on makeup.

How do you take care of your hair?

It has cost me a lot [to have this hair]. I have to be grateful for the life that I have so much hair. What happens is that it is very thin and with so much dryer, and so much plate has broken a lot. This that I'm almost platinum blonde is extremely new. I really don't like it that much because blond hair requires a lot of care. But my mom taught me to apply avocado since I was little. It hydrates it a lot. In addition to that I use a very specific Morrocan Oil shampoo and conditioner. I have never changed that treatment.
