We do not cope with the news of celebrities launching new beauty brands. Last week we anticipated the premiere of Jennifer López's skincare line and Laura Sánchez's makeup and today we can confirm that Francisco Costa, who was the creative director of Calvin Klein for 13 years and a friend of celebs like Giselle Bundchen Anne Hathaway launches into the world of natural cosmetics with her own signature: Costa Brazil.
The brand is inspired by the natural ingredients and traditional rituals of his native Brazil, where he lived until he was 21 years old, and is focused on sustainability and protecting the forests and jungles of a country with one of the richest ecosystems in the world.
The line is on sale in the US from today through its website (livecostabrazil.com) and at the moment it opens with four star products in which the main ingredient is Breu, a resin of the seedling tree that has been used in traditional medicine for its antioxidant and astringent properties.
The first product launch includes a facial oil, Anti-Aging Face Oil (part of the research process to create these products, it is collaborating with the non-profit organization Conservation International. A percentage of the sales of each product will go to the work of this American organization that is dedicated to protecting the ecosystem in more than 30 countries.
