Being part of the angels of Victoria is one of the great dreams of many of the models who want to become the best on the market. That and being part of the important and expected fashion show that the brand carries out every year, one that takes all the girls who participate to another level. One of the most famous? Without a doubt, Gisele Bündchen, the Brazilian model who for many years was the star of this brand.

Now that it has been more than a decade since she took off her wings and left her shows in sexy underwear behind, in her book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, the model talks about her career and remembers the time she was part of Victoria's Secret. She even confesses the reason why she stopped working with them, with whom she started working when she was just 19 years old.

“For the first five years I felt comfortable modeling in underwear. But as time went by, I felt less comfortable being photographed walking the catwalk wearing only a panty or a thong, "explains the model in said book, who also says that she thought about it sometimes when she was asked to renew the contract in 2006." Although the Brazilian enjoyed for several years showing her body and being one of the most important models in the world, in her own words, there came a time when her body and mind asked her to stop. Of course, making the decision not to renew her contract was not easy and she even resorted to the help of a game to make the decision.

"I wrapped two small papers [with the words yes and no] and put them inside an empty glass. I closed my eyes and put a thought in my mind: whatever role I choose will be the best for me and will have the decision that suits me best,”explains the model in the book. “It was not the answer that I unconsciously wanted to hear. It was also the response that my body wanted to hear and was trying to tell me for a long time."
