At 46 years old, not many can boast like Chiquinquirá Delgado that they confuse them with their 26-year-old daughter. How does she get it? The Venezuelan presenter tells us openly about her beauty secrets for maintaining a cinema skin.

How do you take care of your skin today?

If I am not working I try to let my skin rest, I am a fan of masks and anything that tells me it works: from putting tomatoes, to mayonnaise and avocado. The truth is that if you see my bathroom it looks like a pharmacy. But basically my routine, if I'm not working, is to use moisturizer and a lot of sunscreen. With my pregnancy I suffered from melasma, hormonal spots. If I get close to the sun, the spots are hidden and come out again. So I have to protect myself a lot from the sun, I use kilos and kilos of sunscreens.

Do you have a favorite?

I have discovered one of the Heliocare brand that has worked very well for me because it also has color. It is three in one: moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation. I love it.

In addition to creams, do you also like to have treatments in the salon?

I have a facialist that I love and I go as much as I can. I try to go every 15 days and he makes me some wonderful facials. I also get laser once a month with Dr. Rafael Acra and Dr. Guillermo Aldana. They have anti-aging lasers, to keep the skin and skin texture in good condition. It has gone very well for me, it is like healing the skin from the inside out. I have been doing it for many years now. People ask me: "What did you inject yourself with?" And no, it's not injected at all, it's all on the outside. I like treatments that are not invasive, it always makes me a little bit afraid that they are going to put or inject [something], I am very cautious with that.

We have known that you are a complete yogi, when did you start practicing?

Jorge [Ramos], my boyfriend, infected me with the topic of yoga. I'm going to the hot, Bikram Yoga. That's where it all started and I started falling in love with yoga because it's like a little while for me. There are no interruptions there, there is no phone, you are not running everywhere. It's like resetting yourself from day to day, from your career, from being a mom, from work … from everything. At that moment you have to be present and that is the purpose of yoga, to live in the moment, the present.

In terms of fashion, how would you describe your perfect look?

You will never see me with a giant necklace or pearls [nor] with something stamped […] Mine is all gray, white, black, smooth. I don't like [carrying] a lot of information. A good blazer with jeans, some heels, a bow on the head, a good lipstick, some earrings and that's it. You learn to solve.

When you travel, how do you organize as many great looks as you can see on your Instagram account?

Well that's a fight because men never want you to carry suitcases and I try to do magic. If it were up to Jorge, I'd go alone with a carry on for a two-week trip. I try to think about the days and be a little creative. I have the basics and always in the place you will buy something. You have to get creative, I think it's the secret. I also exercise when I go on a trip, so I wear clothes for that and [also] in case I go out at night. Women always with "just in case" we pay excess baggage.

What are your favorite stores or brands?

I prefer unknown brands, I don't like buying in shopping malls. I prefer to buy in street stores because there comes a time when we are all in uniform. On trips I take the opportunity to get into these little street shops. I love vintage pieces, vintage jeans, I love all that different vibe.

Now that your daughter is taking her first steps in show business, what fashion and beauty tips have you given her?

She is a rebel, like her entire generation. Everything the mother tells her, she goes and does the opposite. But yes, we have very similar tastes. In fact, it makes us laugh that when we go shopping together, I say "well, see you here in half an hour" and when we both get to the box we both have the same pieces. But she has a very modern, minimalist style.

After Look who dances! (Univision), what projects will we see you in the coming months?

I am working on a digital series with my daughter Marielena that deals with all the fun situations that occur when one is the mother of a girl who looks like your sister. A thousand things happen to us. On the street, for example, when she hugs me, people think that we are a couple, they create a lot of misunderstandings. For me it is a compliment […] For example, when she arrives with the suitors or her boyfriend, and introduces them to her mother and the boy cannot believe that this is the mother.
