If you go through the photos of Karl Lagerfeld, you will quickly realize that there is a face in the background that always repeats itself. And it is a very attractive face as well. This is Lagerfeld's bodyguard and right-hand man, Sebastien Jondeau, who has been the shadow of “the Kaiser” for 20 years.

From bodyguard he went to personal assistant and even to give styling advice on Chanel's social networks, after all something has to hit you after two decades working alongside the most influential designer of his generation.

Now Jondeau has decided to take the next step in his career with the launch of his first menswear collection that he has presented under the umbrella of his boss's brand and is called Karl Lagerfeld Curated by Sebastien Jondeau.

As he explains in the video, this is a very urban collection that is inspired by himself and includes sweatshirts, lamb jackets, biker jackets, jacket suits, T-shirts and jeans.

"Karl Lagerfeld is my boss, but I call him Karl. I learned a lot from him. I didn't know anything about art, history,”he says in an interview published on the designer's networks. "I think what Karl likes about me is that he is familiar to me and I am honest, direct and sincere."

The collection is for sale now on the Karl.com website and get ready because, as he stated in an interview for Refinery 29, the next step he would like to take would be to create a line for women.
