Controversies are immediate. Just a day ago, First Lady Melania Trump put on a jacket with a sign that said I Really Don't Care? Do u? (I don't really care, do you?) Words that left millions of people in and out of the United States speechless and outraged. Today the eyes are on Shakira and all for one of the garments included in the collection that was created in honor of her world tour.

It turns out that for her El Dorado Tour, just like many other artists do, the Colombian singer launched with the tour organizers a collection of clothes so that fans can buy them when they go to concerts or online on the official website of Shakira and among those pieces was included a necklace with a symbol that bears a great resemblance to a symbol of the Nazis.

This sparked anger and a sea of negative comments towards the singer. However, the pieces are designed and put on sale by Live Nation, the company in charge of producing the artist's world tour. Therefore, they themselves removed the necklace from the singer's page and sent a message apologizing.

"The necklace design we designed for Shakira's El Dorado Tour collection was based on pre-Columbian images," Live Nation said on Twitter. "But as some fans expressed concern about a design that has an unintended resemblance to a Neo-Nazi image, we sincerely apologize for the similarity and have removed the piece from the tour collection."

The emblem that appeared on the necklace is The Black Sun. According to Bento, the website that discovered the similarity, this was a symbol that was in the mosaics of Wewelsburg Castle, in West Germany, and that was the ideological base of Heinrich Himmler, leader of the Nazi party, founder of the Secret Service (SS) and one of the people directly responsible for the Jewish holocaust during World War II.

So far the singer has not spoken about it.
