Getting to Hollywood and being able to fulfill the dream of being an actress is a mission that is sometimes impossible for many, but luckily for some like Isabela Moner, it is a palpable reality. The 16-year-old is already a star among boys her age thanks to the series 100 Things To Do Before High School and her role in the movie Transformers: The Last Knight. Moner continues to grow and rub shoulders with the biggest in Hollywood, especially in the movie Sicario: Day of the Soldado where he shares credits with Binicio del Toro and which opens later this month. Your new adventure? A fun and very affordable clothing collection with JcPenney.

Isabela tell us about this new collection

“I am very excited about my Ob.sess clothing line. It is the first thing I have done in the fashion world, and I am delighted to be able to make a mark in the fashion world. But also, I'm glad to be able to make a clothing line that is comfortable. I made comfort my priority with this and everything is super cute. Another thing I love about my line is that it is for all body types. If you are super petite like me or if you are tall with curvitas, you can find clothes for yourself and the best thing is that the prices are super comfortable. Everything is below June 29 and at select JCPenney stores on July 6.

Were you involved in the design of the pieces?

I was very involved in the design of the pieces and worked closely with the design team every step of the way. I even created as a catalog because I wanted to make sure everything was coordinated and had the aesthetic and vibe that I imagined. Another element that is very important to me in my clothing line is the fabric and how it fits on the body, so I tried on each piece before it was approved.

What are your favorite pieces?

Some of my favorite pieces are from the Back to School Collection. Many pieces can be combined in this line. Everything is made to go well when you combine it. It can be used in warm weather, cold weather and for different occasions or events. You can take the dresses from the fall line and make them more gala or more casual depending on what you put on together. They are all pieces that I would wear. There are many floral prints, casual dresses and sports pieces. One of my favorite pieces is the turtleneck garment with a T-shirt underneath. The material that was used is great to me. I also love the burgundy color dress, it is beautiful. It is very sporty and fits very well.

Will we see more of your collections?

Yes, I have a second collection that will come out this fall in late August and another for the holidays that comes out in mid-October. But follow @ ob.sess to stay on top of all collection announcements.

What is special about your collection?

When you are young, it is common that you feel a little insecure and always taking care of how you express yourself, how you look, worrying about exercising and how you eat. It is crazy because it can be too much. This collection is intended to include all girls. Everyone, from sizes 7 to 20, will be able to feel beautiful in the garments of this collection and that sends a very nice message. I hope this brand emphasizes the inclusion of all ethnicity, all body shapes, and sizes. This collection should remind people of what really matters when it comes to fashion: being yourself and expressing yourself and loving who you are.

Do you have other projects this year?

I have some projects to come. Sicario: Soldier's Day comes out at the end of June. Instant Family is a movie I made with Mark Wahlberg and Octavia Spencer. It's about children in orphanages and how the adoption system works. It is a very realistic story. Everyone involved is very passionate about the message behind it and the director has a personal connection to this topic. It is full of truths and lots of stories that people can relate to. It is a family comedy / drama, and it is very moving. In the next project I have I will be filming the movie Dora the Explorer in Australia. I am very happy to play the role of a Latino heroine for youth because we really don't have anyone in particular. We don't have a Latin heroine in the film industry right now and I think that's very important for the climate we find ourselves in.
