You will know Jordana Brewster for her role as Mia in the Fast & Furious action saga, but off-screen the actress is also the image of the POND´S firm and a very busy mother of two children. We talked to the Panamanian about her beauty routine and how she has mastered the art of multitasking since she was a mother.
Between red carpets, filming and photo sessions, how do you take care of your skin when you are working?
JB I take care of it by washing it often. After a sweat session in the gym I use the POND´S wipes and I also take them with me to the film set because I usually wear a lot of makeup and heavier than normal for HD television and these wipes remove it very well. It is also important to use a good moisturizer at night, I use
Rejuveness (also from POND´S), especially good for winter. I always make sure to drink plenty of water.
How has your beauty routine changed since you were a mom?
JB I have to be more versatile with my routine. Instead of putting on a mask while I rest in the bathtub now I put it on while I do the laundry. I also use makeup remover wipes a lot when I run from one thing to another behind the boys. It's all about multitasking!
As an image of a beauty brand, what have you learned about cosmetics or skincare that you didn't know before?
I have learned that the best is things that you have proven to work. Passing fads don't usually work, if something seems too good to be true it probably is.
What is your favorite beauty look?
It changes every season, but I always love to highlight the eyelashes and the very bright and tanned skin.
How would you describe your style?
I would say that my day-to-day style is very classic, but I try to risk more on the red carpet.
Is there a look that you especially regret?
I've never been uncomfortable on the red carpet, but if I had to choose one it would be the huge bangs from the '90s.
What is never missing in your bag when you leave home?
I do not go out without wipes for my children and makeup remover wipes for me. I also always have water and snacks on hand.
