Did you love the MAC collection inspired by singer Selena? The cosmetics firm is once again inspired by one of the most beloved music icons for the launch of its next collection: Aaliyah x MAC, which will be released next summer 2018.
“Aaliyah is truly one of a million, an unstoppable icon whose revolutionary work in R&B music inspires us all. Today we join her countless fans to honor her with this collection. You have made it possible!”Says the statement with which the launch has been made public.

Fans of the singer, who died at the age of 22 in a plane accident while filming a music video in the Bahamas, had been asking the cosmetic company to launch this line for a long time and had even started to petition on the Change platform. org.
“We want MAC to be the first brand to reintroduce Aaliyah's legacy to the world in a format that has never been done before. Aaliyah's brother Rashad Haughton says Aaliyah was a fan of MAC and that he approves of the idea of a limited edition collection,”the petition says.
There are still many months to know more about the colors and products that the collection will include, but in the meantime the brand has confirmed another star collaboration with the music world: Nicki Minaj will launch its limited edition collection on September 21 and will consist of a line of lipsticks in nudes tones that will be available in stores until October 19.
