There is no denying that everything Rihanna touches turns to gold. Her songs are a success, the collections she has made with Puma have sold like hotcakes and the shoes she designed together with Manolo Blahnik became the object of desire for many. So when the singer announced that she had teamed up with designer Donna Karan and the New York design school Parson School for Design to create a collection for the benefit of her Clara Lionel Foundation, a general euphoria was unleashed. And we know that many people will benefit from this union.
Haitian artisans will also be incorporated into this project since that country will directly benefit from the profits of this line.
Only three students from that institution will participate in this project together with Haitian artists and it will be next May 22 when the same artist chooses them during a visit to the school.
The chosen ones will move to the Caribbean country in June where they will spend six to eight weeks working on the collection at the Design Organization Training Center located in Port-au-Prince and founded by Donna Karan. At the moment there is no date for the launch of the collection, but we are sure that the designs will be luxurious.
There is no doubt that in addition to style and talent, the singer has a giant heart. Bravo Rihanna!
