One practice that has been very well received by audiences of all ages is for large fashion houses to team up with more affordable stores or brands to create limited edition pieces and give consumers the opportunity to have something of a good quality to a excellent price. Once again it was the turn of the prestigious brand Balmain - previously it made a collection for H & M - which now joined L'Oréal Paris to create a collection of lipsticks that will surely be heart-stopping.
Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of the Kardashians' favorite brand, will be in charge of designing the packaging for the new lipsticks of the L'Oréal Color Riche formula and will also supervise the advertising campaign.
"L'Oréal Paris and Balmain share the same vision of femininity and the same mission to empower women and offer them different ways to express themselves," the designer said in a statement. "With this collaboration, I am very excited to make this idea tangible for all women around the world"
The Balmain x L'Oréal capsule collection will feature 12 lipstick shades and will be unveiled just before Paris Fashion Week, held in late September.
Lipsticks will only be available in Balmain stores in Paris and in some pharmacies where L'Oréal is available. There will also be a special box with three of the colors that can only be obtained in the stores of the prestigious brand.
There is no doubt that this will be a luxury collection that we will all be able to have. Too bad we have to wait a few months. You know, already mark the date on your calendar.
