Lea Michele teamed up with beauty company Burt's Bees to create a limited collection of lipsticks that seeks to raise awareness of the declining bee population.
The Bring Back the Bees campaign will be launched officially next March in order to, in addition to raising awareness, also raise funds to contribute to a better environment for these insects.
"I think this is a problem that a lot of people don't know about, so I want to help people understand it," the actress told People magazine.
Bring Back the Bees lipsticks will be available in various colors and flavors, including coconut, wild berry and pink grapefruit. For each lipstick sold, the Burt's Bees Greater Good Foundation, in collaboration with other organizations, will sow 1,000 wildflower seeds.
The company has also created a campaign for social media and for each photo you upload to Instagram with the hashtag #Bringbackthebees, 1,000 seeds will be planted in your name.
