To present her fall / winter 2017 collection, Tracy Reesedecided to select the most diverse models, not only in size, but also in color and race. Young girls, others a little more mature, white, brunette, Muslim and plus size gave a touch of individuality and freshness to the designer's show, presented during New York Fashion Week. It was these same women who inspired her to create the modern and original pieces in bright colors, luxurious fabrics and abstract prints that enchanted many. “It is a celebration of the many facets of a woman's life. Seeing women of different nationalities and with unique points of view inspire me to continue creating pieces that will serve them as they navigate the world around them,”said the designer. "This collection is an ode to the strength and beauty of the feminine spirit",

Women reading poetry about the female fortress were located in various places in the house where the presentation was given. For their part, the models wore pieces that mixed Reese's traditional femininity with an ethnic aesthetic and a more global air. With her presentation, Reese achieved what she wanted to highlight: individuality and the feminine spirit.

The makeup, performed by Luis Casco for Mary Kay, was created to highlight the natural beauty of each model. "I wanted to create a look that could be worn on different skin tones," said the expert who applied the limited-edition Sunlight shade (available Feb. 16) to the models' eyelids as a base. Then, he applied the Mineral Eye Color shade in the Amber Blaze shade to the center of the eyelid to create a metallic sheen to reflect light. She finished the look by applying freckles with the Brow Definer Pencil in different shades to achieve a natural and youthful finish.

The hair, made by Bok-Hee for Cantu, was simple yet original. To create the ponytail with a straight stripe in the center, the expert used the Edge Gel to make the look look polished and sophisticated, and on the ends, he applied the Co-Wash to give it texture. "I felt like I was giving everyone a unique touch," Bok-Hee said. "Tracy Reese wanted to embrace the individuality of each woman, and this style reflects different personalities."
