It is not a secret that Jennifer López steals the eyes when she passes by the carpet of some event. But, last night, when she made her appearance at the People's Choice Awards gala, she left everyone impressed with the spectacular outfit she wore, her modern hairstyle and the impeccable makeup that made her look like a real twenty-something.
In fact, it's worth noting that JLo looked slimmer than ever and designer Reem Acra's long-sleeved black dress with crystals on top made her look like a mermaid. To complement her wardrobe, the protagonist of the series Shades of Blues opted for a ponytail and her usual glow on the face.
To achieve this luxurious makeup, her makeup artist Mary Phillips prepared her skin with L'Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Intensive Skin Revitalizer, which she left for ten minutes before applying the same brand Revitalift Moisture Blur.
Phillips then applied True Match Lumi Cushion in Natural Tan, Perfect Beige and Nude Beige, mixed with Infallible Pro Matte Finish in Golden Beige. “This gives a good contrast to the Lumi base. It's super matte,”wrote Phillips on her Instagram account. “I like to use various shades [base]. [This technique] gives the most realistic effect for healthy and sexy 3-D skin.”
To keep the base in place, Phillips proceeded to apply Armani's Micro Fil Loose Powder and then the Sun Glow Master Bronzer from the same brand.
The makeup artist continued applying the Effacernes Waterproof Protective waterproof concealer by Lancôme under the eyes and defining the facial features with the Infallible Pro Contour Kit in Medium by L'Oreal.
Luminous skin and dazzling glow has always been the singer's hallmark and to achieve this, the makeup artist used the True Match blushes, in Tender Rose and Innocent Flush, and the Prima Glow Moisturizing Balm illuminator, by Armani. "I apply it with a blush brush and then I finish applying it delicately with my fingers."
To complete the tanned look, the artist opted for smokey eye makeup using L'Oreal's Color Riche La Palette Nude eyeshadow palette and Infallible Black Velvet Liner eyeliner, highlighting the look with Voluminous Superstar mascara Mask.
On her lips, the actress, who won the best actress award in a crime series last night, used the liner Le Lipstique, in Inspire, by Lancôme and the Color Riche Lipcolour lipsticks, in Toasted Almond and Nature's Blush, by L 'Or real.
Without a doubt, López revolutionized the carpet with his chic and glamorous outfit, and the dreamy makeup that made more than one die of envy.
