Designer Rosa Clandestino launches her “Is not the same without me” movement in the United States, which celebrates the value of each individual and their ability to make a difference through fashion.
"The movement was born in Milan last year with the Universal Exposition," says Clandestino, who lived for many years in the Italian city, although she was born in the United States to a Cuban mother and a Nicaraguan father. “I thought it would be a nice opportunity to send a positive message to the world. A universal message, easy to remember and difficult to forget, that would become personal both for the Milanese and for the visitors who in turn would take it to their countries”.
Clandestino, creative director of the movement, has designed hats and T-shirts for men, women, children and even pets, with the message "America is not the same without me", which can be purchased on the campaign's website. “I am a faithful believer in the good side of people and the importance of highlighting it. Sometimes we forget the essential: we are all special”, explains Clandestino. "Why 'America is Not the Same Without Me'? Because we smile, because we get up every time we fall, because together we cross borders, because our rhythm is contagious, because we are unique, because we are all part of history."
For each garment sold, the movement will donate International Media Networks, on its music channel Tr3s. Join the movement and celebrate your originality!
