Britney Spears knows how to make her entrance in a great event and yesterday, after 10 years of absence on the stage of the MTV Video Music Awards, the queen of pop once again looked spectacular on the white carpet. She dazzled in a black Versace dress that she paired with a wavy, laid-back hairstyle for a very Britney look. Celebrity stylist Lorenzo Martin took care of the sexy hairstyle that gave us back the most traditional image of Spears, and shares the steps you need to take to get the same results.
1. Apply a mousse on wet hair from roots to ends.
2. Blow-dry hair until smooth and silky. The stylist used the Ultralight Speed Dryer from Bio Ionic as it retains the natural moisture in the hair instead of removing it during drying.
3. Wrap sections of hair with a curling iron, but be sure to leave the ends out. Finish the look by shaking the sections to loosen the curl and achieve a more relaxed look.
4. For the finishing touch Lorenzo used a texturizing powder to give it volume and a bit of ColorProof HumidityRX Anti-Frizz WeatherProof Spray to make sure that the hair remained intact and flawless throughout the night.
