Like many Latinas I have very thick hair and now that it is summer and there is a lot of humidity, I have been looking for a solution. I tried creams that prevent frizz, I used to iron my hair daily, I used shampoos and conditioners that promise to help control unruly hair, but even though I tried different things, I was never satisfied with the result until I had the treatment keratin.
I decided to have the Lasio treatment, in the salon of the famous stylist Nunzio Saviano, whose formula is water-based, removes 100% of hair frizz and lasts up to 4 months. I talked to him about how one should take care of one's hair after treatment to make it last longer. This is what I learned:
1. Wait at least 24 hours before moistening the hair
The hair needs a whole day to absorb the treatment.
2. The same applies to hairstyles
In this way you will prevent the hair from taking the shape of the hairstyle.
3. Use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners
The chemical ingredients can affect the hair cuticle which will therefore make the keratin last less time.
4. If you plan to dye your hair, do it before or a week after the treatment
If you choose to dye it beforehand, the treatment will help seal the color. If you prefer to do it later, it is better to wait a week since the keratin adds a protective layer on the hair and that could prevent the color from penetrating to its maximum power.
5. And against the rumors, you can go into the sea and the pool without damaging the treatment
Enjoy the summer 100%!
