Actress Lily James explores the world of modeling by becoming the image of Burberry's My Burberry Black fragrance.
She herself used social media to announce the good news.
"I am very excited to be announced as the new face of My Burberry," wrote the star of the movie Cinderella. “Wait for the campaign that will come out in August. I love Burberry."
This is the first advertising job for Lily James, joining other veteran models like Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss who in the past have served as the image of the British brand's perfumes.
"I am very proud to be British, because [this] really means a lot to me," explained the actress in a press release, who in addition to appearing in the advertising photos taken by Peruvian photographer Mario Testino, will also star in the commercials. “The first filming has been very special. I think I'm showing a different side."
