Designer Rosita Hurtado will present her Viva México collection for the first time in the Aztec country and the garments will begin to be sold as souvenirs in some of her most popular spas.
The line, inspired by some of the country's most important emblematic characters and monuments, will be presented in Acapulco on February 26.
“It is an urban casual collection with a cultural purpose. It is inspired by four icons of Mexican history: Frida Kahlo, María Félix, Cantinflas and Juan Gabriel, and also in the architecture of Mexico,”explained the Bolivian designer, who together with this collection will also present her footwear line. "It will be shown as a different option of souvenirs in stores in Acapulco, Cancun and Playa del Carmen", The collection, which was unveiled last year during the Bolivian and Dominican Republic fashion week, includes tops, skirts, accessories and other clothing.
"I chose these icons because I always admired them for their careers and for bringing Mexican culture to the world," added Hurtado.
