Designer Kate Spade unveiled her fall 2016 collection during New York Fashion Week and, as always, her proposals did not disappoint.
Beautiful pastel colors with floral prints, eye-catching bags and very feminine dresses were seen in the presentation that took place in one of the halls of the iconic 30 building of Rockefeller Plaza, from where you can appreciate one of the best views of the city.
The collection also featured the checked coats and ties that are almost always seen in the brand's designs, as well as shoes adorned with flowers and rhinestones.
To complement the beautiful clothes, makeup artist Romy Soleiman chose to make a luminous makeup.
“It is about the skin looking healthy. We use the new Kevin Aucoin base called the Luminous Foundation and it has a beautiful finish. It is like a serum with color”, explains the renowned makeup artist. “We did not want the models to look like dolls, but their eyes to be awake. The intention is that they look fresh and with healthy skin.”
To perfect the look of the models, the hair stylist Recine made a simple ponytail look.
“It is a very easy look to achieve and it is very modern for today's girl who does not have to be so perfect. It's okay to have hair with some bugs. That is what we are trying to reflect here, that you do not have to do something perfect to achieve something beautiful and modern,”says the expert. “We use all the products in the Phyto line. We put a little foam on them and then a little bit of fixative. We do not comb the hair, we only use the hands. Everything very simple and casual”.
