Puerto Rican actress Jeimy Osorio, protagonist of Celia (Telemundo), confesses all her beauty tricks, and her passion for natural products and homemade recipes to take care of her skin.
Working in show business, you subject your skin to a lot of stress, how do you take care of it?
I exfoliated my face a lot with baking soda and cocoa cream soap. I try to go natural and make my own mixes. I use a lot of cocoa butter, if I have a little pig, some granite… I try not to wear a lot of makeup when I'm not working and I use oils a lot, for example I like almond oils to hydrate the skin. I also protect myself a lot from the sun with a cream with spf 50.
What do you do to remove your makeup and what products do you use at the end of the day?
To remove my makeup I use soap from the brand Palmer's that is made of cocoa butter as well. With that I take off everything and the water is very cold, very cold. I don't dry my face, I let it air dry and [I feel like that] tones it. The skin remains hydrated and does not scratch it with the towel. For the lips I also use cocoa butter before bed to keep them hydrated. I sleep with a mask and face up because they say that face down you put pressure on your face and wrinkles form.
You have hair that draws attention, how do you pamper it?
My hair does not require much care. I try to keep the ends healthy and have the classic afro cut. I untangle it in the shower with conditioner for curly hair and a comb. I untangle it calmly, little by little, I let it dry, maybe I apply coconut oil to it. When I want to shape the curls a lot I use a mousse. I let it dry and when it is dry I shake it so that the curls look defined and do not crumble.

Do you have a beauty ritual?
Brown sugar baths with cinnamon and honey. I do my exfoliation with that too and it is more like a ritual of attraction of abundance, of joy, of beautiful things. I light my candles and incense, I play music, I turn off the lights … and I begin to attract positive things, to make affirmations. And ask God that the beauty that I bring inside is reflected.
What is your favorite perfume?
I have many, but I like to mix them. For example I am now using Armani's Si, I really like La vie est belle by Lancôme, CH by Carolina Herrera, Versus by Versace. I really like the Angels or the Alien, those I do merge. I do a fusion and I have a different smell, strong but that lasts all day.
What other concerns do you have related to the world of beauty?
Later when I can make a line of all these products [with natural ingredients] I will. It is a girl's dream. It is not only singing, it is not only acting, it is designing fashion, it is getting into the world of food, making restaurants, recipes, I don't know, later working on lines of beauty products for hair. I like the natural side of beauty, that they are things that are accessible, that people do not feel that to be beautiful you have to spend.
