Venezuelan host and actress Gaby Espino launches into the beauty business world with her new namesake line of matte lipsticks that are now available on her online platform.
Why have you started with lipsticks?
It is a product that characterizes and describes me, I love being with painted lips. The names are also very special and authentic. They are little things that I have been deciding with the fans, they have had a lot to do in deciding the names, the colors … A very nice process.
And why kill?
The trend is super strong. I didn't want to get into a much more complex makeup line, I wanted to focus on that. But we are not going to only remove mate, we will go with the trend.

What is the color that most identifies you?
The hot pink. In fact my platform is of those colors. I think that will remain even if the color trend changes.
But in addition to looking good, they have more benefits, right?
People believe that by being matte they dry the lips but it is not like that. It has moisturizers, does not contain parabens and has not been tested on animals.
What type of woman are they designed for?
There are girls who follow me from the age of 15, 18, 20, also young moms, women who want to look pretty. Sometimes the woman tends to neglect herself because of so many things that she has on her. But nowadays, the woman takes to the streets, works for her family, studies, exceeds herself and despite having many responsibilities, she also takes care of herself.

What will be next?
We are developing several things but we have to give time to everything. I hope to develop different products dedicated to women. I do not know if all of beauty but yes for women; They can be from shoes to false eyelashes, makeup … I want to go testing.
You mentioned that your fans have helped you in choosing colors and names, why are they so important to you and how do you value the interaction with them?
I love it. Social networks are a wonderful way to have this direct communication. Sometimes I talk to people from countries that I didn't even know existed and they write to me with a translator on the phone. I take the time to ask them how they are, talk. Same for the tutorials, I always ask what they want to see and I always tell them, I am not an expert, I do not come to teach anyone, I just come to share what they have taught me.
Give us a makeup tip for this season
Wine colors are very fashionable, both in the eyes and on the lips. But if you are going to put on dark lips try to make your eyes a little lighter in terms of shadows. And [don't wear] a pink blush, but darker, tan colors.
