It is being a great year for Katy Perry and there are still many months of 2015 ahead.

In addition to being crowned the highest-paid artist on the show, performing in the Super Bowl and starring in Moschino's fall campaign, among other feats, the Californian singer is the face of Christmas for H&M.

"H&M was one of the first places where I started to cultivate my personal style," Perry said in a statement. "One of the reasons I love Christmas is because you can dress warm and cute."

For her part, Pernilla Wohlfahrt, head of design for the Swedish house stated: “We are delighted that Katy is the star of the campaign. We love everything about her, from her incredible talent and energy to her joyous sense of style.”

The interpreter of "Roar" announced the news to her followers through a candid Instagram photo in which she appears wearing a warm sweater decorated with Christmas motifs and a flattering red bow, and also recorded a video commenting on the event.

Perry thus joins the list of celebrities who have starred in campaigns for the firm, such as Beyoncé, Giselle Bündchen or David Beckham, and replaces Lady Gaga and Tony Bennet in the Christmas ads, which will begin to be published and broadcast in November.
