After more than a year of being a spokesperson for Chanel Beauty's Les Beiges makeup line, now Gisele Bündchen will also be the image of the most iconic fragrance of this French house, Chanel No. 5, thus replacing Marilyn Monroe, who had been the most recent image of this perfume.
The supermodel was chosen for this role because of her "natural beauty and modern femininity," a Chanel representative told the WWD fashion daily.

According to the same publication, the Brazilian has already filmed a commercial in Sagaponack, New York, by the renowned director Baz Luhrmann, who also directed the Nicole Kidman spot for the same fragrance in 2005.
In addition to Bünchen, Monroe and Kidman, celebrities like Brad Pitt, Vanessa Paradis, Catherine Deneuve and Audrey Tautou have been ambassadors for this perfume in the past.
The Bünchen campaign will not be launched until a few months from now.
