The versatile Jay Z will launch his first perfume, Gold, on November 20 in Barneys New York, within the collection he has made for this prestigious chain of stores.
The interpreter elaborated the fragrance in collaboration with the famous perfumer Ilias Ermenidis, and in it we find notes of ginger, cypress, pink pepper, lavender and vanilla, among other aromas.
"I am impressed with Jay Z's style and confidence," Ermenidis said in a statement. “He has that natural cool touch that people want. I wanted to capture both parts of him: the vibrant ambition of his charismatic character and his effortless, natural style, through notes chosen by Jay Z.”
It seems that Beyoncé's husband had a hard time finding the name that according to him best represented the essence of his creation until he decided on Gold. But luxury is not only in the name; Designed by Jazy Z, the fragrance comes in a matte pure white bottle with gold embossed lettering. On the bottle cap, also gilded, you can read "Power", "Pride", "Confidence", "Strength", "Success" and "Courage " (value).
On November 29 Gold will hit more than 2,000 stores such as Sephora, Nordstrom and Macy's, priced at $ 39, the 1.0 oz bottle; $ 55, the 1.7 oz. and $ 70, the 3.0 oz.
