With children at home during the coronavirus scourge quarantine, parents have not only become teacher assistants by helping them with their schoolwork, but are also forced to use their creativity to keep the little ones entertained.

Actress and presenter Gaby Espino is not exempt from this and tries to entertain her little Oriana and Nickolas, who have behaved like all champions during this time of uncertainty.

"With the kids at home and online classes, everything [is] a little complicated, everything new," confesses the driver. “We make eggs in the afternoon, we play Uno, Monopoly, everything. In my house there is a large patio, there is a [field] to play basketball [bowl], there is a swimming pool, we try to do everything we can. Poor things, they are the ones who suffer the most from this situation.”

For Espino, 2020 promised to be a fairly busy year at work with various projects on television, from the hosting of the Billboard Latin Music Awards, to a reality show and a series, all without leaving aside his multiple appearances in special events. and its commitments to major brands like Neutrogena.

"Everything I had was suspended," he says. "But the most important thing is to get the positive out of this. I think the coronavirus is giving us many lessons and giving us the time to get back together as a family and give us all that time and space that we don't give ourselves when we are in the bustle of life.”

Espino is also using this time at home to nurture himself on a personal level through books, meditation - and doing things that keep her with inner peace in all aspects of her life.

"For me, my house is my space of peace, my sanctuary, my refuge and that is what balances me out of the life of work, of the life of this medium of entertainment that is suddenly so busy," he says. "[To my children] I try to instill what I believe: since you wake up in the morning, since you wake up, thank the things that we see simple, that we have in front that sometimes we do not realize, from the blue sky, to to be able to breathe, [and have] the plants, absolutely everything”.

And he adds: “I try to teach them [that we have to] live in gratitude. I think that is the most important thing in life. When you thank absolutely everything, what happens to you, what you have, what you like and don't like in your life, because the blessings multiply and that's what I try to make my children learn and that is the motto of their life”

Although she does not consider herself a role model, the host has very important advice for the new generation of young people who are looking for a life guide: “The most important thing is to define your purpose, where you want to go, what you want to do, what do you want from you Make an action plan and fight for those goals and dreams.”
