At 51 years old, Jorge Enrique Abello, the unforgettable heartthrob from the hit soap opera Yo soy Betty la fea (1999), has just become a father for the third time.
The renowned Colombian actor began 2020 by welcoming María Matilde Abello, his third daughter, the result of his marriage to a young model named Marisabel, who is almost twenty years younger than him and with whom he had his second son at the end of 2018.
"María Matilde Abello was born beautiful thanks to this wonderful team," Jorge Enrique announced on January 20 through his social networks.
It was not, however, until this week that the actor has presented the newborn to his more than 1 million Instagram followers with a cute photo on Instagram.
“She is María Matilde Abello. She was born a couple of weeks ago. She is the third of my children and like the other two a proof of the infinite love of God. There is nothing to treasure in the world but love. Just that: love,”wrote the proud dad next to the snapshot of the baby.
Jorge Enrique, who last year made a special participation in Betty in NY, the new version of Yo soy Betty la fea produced by Telemundo, will return this Monday, February 10 to the Spanish-language network as part of the cast of Operación pacífico.
Starring Majida Issa, the superset tells the story of Amalia Ortega (Majida), a wife, mother and captain of the Secret Intelligence Unit of the Police, who will put her career, her life and that of her family at risk in her attempt to Capture El Guapo, a mysterious and powerful drug trafficker.
