Almost two years after her marriage to Rodrigo Luque, Ingrid Martz is beyond happiness. And is not for less. After a long period of time wishing she could become a mom, the Mexican actress is just a few months away from seeing her dream come true.
The former villain of successful Televisa soap operas such as Before Dead Lichita (2015) and What the Poor So Rich (2013) announced on Tuesday through her social networks that she is expecting her first child with her husband.
"My husband and I feel infinite happiness, the bigger dream of the two is being fulfilled," Martz expressed excitedly.
"This is the best blessing that life could give us and what I can say falls short of what we feel," added the actress, along with an image that shows for the first time the face of her future son.
Just as excited as Ingrid, the actress's husband shared a video through Instagram Stories in which he proudly boasts the first heartbeat of the creature that is on the way.
An emotional video that the 39-year-old interpreter, who left the ranks of Televisa in 2017 after almost two decades as part of the company to star in a soap opera in the competition, TV Azteca, also soon shared with her followers.
Congratulations and expressions of happiness at the news were immediate.
"Congratulations, what a thrill," said Mexican actress and host Jacky Bracamontes, who worked with Martz on several Televisa soap operas, including Rubí (2004) and Heridas de amor (2006).
Ana Layevska, Laura Zapata, Jessica Coch and Andrea Legarreta, among many other celebrities, also joined the congratulatory messages.
After several years of dating, Ingrid and Rodrigo swore eternal love before God in March 2017 in a dream wedding in which the beautiful actress wore a spectacular dress by the Benito Santos Novias brand.
Today, almost two years after that emotional moment, the happy couple prepares to receive in the coming months their first-born, a highly desired and awaited baby who we are sure will completely change their lives for the better.
