Today March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day and as every year the renowned Mexican actress Leticia Calderón went to social networks to celebrate this special date with her son Luciano, who has suffered from this genetic disorder for 14 years.
Happy day of love syndrome. I love you”, expressed the unforgettable protagonist of the successful soap opera Esmeralda.
The 49-year-old interpreter accompanied her words with four beautiful snapshots in which she poses happily with her 'angel'.
The emotional words that Leticia shared did not go unnoticed among her followers.
“You are a great example of woman and mother. Congratulations. You are worthy of admiration,”commented one fan.
“Four images that speak more than a thousand words. What a beautiful love”, wrote another person.
It was just the day of his birth when Leticia found out that her son was coming into the world with Down Syndrome. Although the news shocked her at first as she was not expecting it, the actress knew immediately that the little one was a great blessing in her life and it was clear from the first moment that her syndrome was not going to be any impediment to her growing up happy.
