With countless successful soap operas in her career, Catherine Siachoque is one of the most recognized Colombian actresses.

Her 21-year marriage to Colombian actor and director Miguel Varoni has been the envy of many couples in the entertainment world, although the two lovebirds have never been able to escape the question that is asked of every couple: have they thought of having sons?.

"It has never been a great issue between us, Miguel has never wanted to have children," the actress told Quique Usales in Al rojo vivo (Telemundo). "Until today we have not wanted."

Despite this, the Colombian stressed that she does not rule out the possibility of one day becoming a mother, so she and her husband have done what is necessary to ensure that in the future they can achieve it.

"We have frozen embryos, just in case, at some point, if I wanted to and it didn't work naturally for me as the years go by," he said. "Maybe at the end of this novel I tell you: 'We have decided to adopt, I have become pregnant or whatever.'"

In a previous exclusive interview with People en Español, Siachoque asked her husband why he doesn't want to have children. "You've been married to the same woman for 21 years, why didn't you want to have children?" Asked the actress of the series Sin senos si hay paradise.

To which his partner replied: “I don't know, my love. It is something that comes with me. I was not born with that priority in life. Maybe since my dad died when I was very young, I have no idea what it is. I respect human beings and all the people who really come with it and are great parents. I deeply admire the fathers and mothers of this world because they are heroes. Maybe I don't come with that, it's something personal of mine. I hope they don't judge me in such a cruel and ruthless way."

Whether her husband wants children or not, Siachoque continues to think that "he is a spectacular man", that is how he wants to keep the embryos "frozen".

The actress is preparing for the premiere of the third season of Sin senos si hay paradise this July 25 at 9 pm ET on Telemundo.
