Some parents take their children for a swim in the pool or on the beach, but others, like singing diva Mariah Carey, seek unique experiences to please their little ones in their quest for aquatic adventures.
That was evident with a couple of posts that the 47-year-old star posted on her social media to brag about how she and her 6-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, swam with an impressive group of sharks - not without her assuring that the animals were "tame".
The incredible experience took place at a resort in the Bahamas. There, Carey plunged into the waters with the children to admire and even touch the sharks that were swimming very close to them. "Shark day with the children, do not rush, they are very meek," Carey said in the photo where he appears next to the twins, who are the result of his marriage with fellow actor and singer Nick Cannon, about to plunge into the waters.
In another video, Carey, who wore a very low-cut diving suit, is seen smiling at the camera, armed with snorkeling equipment and trying to touch the tail of one of the animals.
The posts were published on July 4 and although many fans of the singer said positive things about her family adventure, others condemned her.
