The Crocodile Hunter Wanted More Children

Next September 6 will mark the eleventh anniversary of the death of the beloved Steve Irwin, known worldwide as the Crocodile Hunter. After the tragedy that left his followers in mourning, his wife Terri Irwin and their children Bindi and Robert Irwin have become the preservers of his great love for animals.

Recently in an interview with E! News during the Steve Irwin Gala in the city of Los Angeles, Terri revealed that before the death of her husband the two were planning to have a third child.

“Steve was very excited when Bindi was born. He asked me, Do you think we should have a child? ' And then Robert was born, they are perfect. They are easy, wonderful boys and a great help to me”, he revealed about his family.

I said, 'We are going to have a third child.' I wonder if I wanted a son or a daughter”, he shared about the moment when the two talked about bringing a new member to their beautiful family.

The famous death of the famous Crocodile Hunter occurred while filming a documentary series called Ocean's Deadliest. A stingray blanket repeatedly attacked him with his tail, piercing his heart, causing him to lose a considerable amount of blood. Despite his team's efforts to keep him alive, the injuries were fatal.

When we lost Steve we had two options, cornering ourselves in a corner or doing something even better and bigger. The only way to honor Steve's legacy and all he lived for was to continue his work and expand it,”added Terri of her duties as director of the Australia Zoo in Beerwah.
