Julián Gil and Marjorie de Sousa are excited for the upcoming arrival of their first child together, Matías.
The two prepare with care the arrival of their little one and begin to make decisions about what should be in his life, starting with his first book.
"I believe that there is one that is basic for all of us from a young age and that one still reads when we grow up: The Little Prince," explained De Sousa, who is on the cover of the February 2017 issue of People en Español.
For his part, Gil assures that he will read the Bible to him, because for the actor it is very important that his son knows Jesus.
“I think the ideal would be to start reading the Bible to him. [That he began] to know Jesus from a young age. Which in my case happened as an adult, [when] I began to know Jesus and his history, and everything that is important to us ", Gil told us, through a recording that was taken during his stay in Spain, where he was filming scenes from his movie Jesus of Nazareth.
As soon as he arrives in this world, Matías also has a destination for his first trip.
"Once he can travel, I would like him to go to Puerto Rico," said Gil, who explained that there is a very special place on the Caribbean island where he wants to take his son. “The Laguna del Condado specifically, where [my mother's] ashes were scattered. I would like to take him there to introduce him in some way to Mom."
