Just 48 hours after Courtney Fletcher Bennet posted on Facebook last Wednesday, a video starring her 10-year-old daughter - who has a prosthetic leg - the clip went viral, right? The excitement with the Emma receives a doll designed especially for her.
The little girl cries with joy when she opens the box that contains a doll with a leg prosthesis, the same condition that she suffers from.

"You have got to be kidding me," Emma screams. "He has a leg like mine!", She adds excitedly.
During her video, her mother asks her to read the letter that accompanies the doll. "After he got there, he settled her in a room for a while while her leg was done," says Emma. “Then we put her little leg in her favorite color and she started walking right away. After two weeks of training to [return] to walk and run with her new prosthesis, she is ready to live her life without limitations with you,”she continues.
Bennett enlisted prosthetics company A Step Ahead Prosthetics to help her customize a doll for her daughter without charging her anything according to the company's website.
“We feel that it is absolutely crucial to boost confidence, self-esteem and feelings of inclusion in girls who have lost a limb. Something as small as a doll can have profound effects on her physical and mental well-being,”explained a spokesperson for A Step Ahead Prosthetics, the company that gave the doll to the little girl.
