Erika Buenfil announced that it was very difficult for her to be a single mother. The actress used to cry alone for not being sure that she was doing things well while raising her son Nicolás.
"I did not have anyone close to me that would have been the same, I did not know any single mother," said the actress in an interview with Mezcalent. “I felt like the world was coming down on me of course. So at two years old my mother dies, as many doors are closing, but they say that when one door closes it is because a bigger one is going to open, you don't understand until it happens."
The Mexican interpreter affirmed that the most important challenge in her life has been that of being a single mother.
"Yes it is difficult because you have to fall apart, even if you are collapsing inside you have to be firm and your son has to be firm to promote security, because if you are insecure, the child receives it," she added. "It is not easy, but time passes, all I can say is that entrusting yourself to God and taking refuge in friends, in family, is no longer impossible."
The protagonist of Amores Verdaderos said she was proud of the love that little Nicolás feels for her.
"She says that I am the best mother in the world, that I am a super mom," said the proud mother. "He is a great boy who has learned to live with a woman, actress, artist, worker and professional."
