Unlike his character in the Scandal series (ABC), Kery Washington lives a very sweet moment in his life.
The American actress owes her joy to the birth of her first-born Isabelle Amarachi, 11 months ago, as a result of her marriage to Nnamdi Asomugha.
"It has made my life better in every way," Washington told People magazine during an event last Saturday in Beverly Hills.
The actress participated in the launch celebration of the third edition of Expecting 411: Clear Answers & Smart Advice for Your Pregnancy, written by Dr. Michele Hakakha, and which has been Washington's guide book during her pregnancy.
"This book was on my bedside table throughout the pregnancy," she shares.
"It is as if your best friend was a brilliant obstetrician (doctor specialized in gestation, childbirth and postpartum) and had written a book for you." Added the actress.
