Lorena Rojas pauses on the recordings of the soap opera De mente criminal, which she stars alongside Sebastián Ligarde and Gabriel Valenzuela, to share her mother's experiences and her battle against cancer.

“My daughter right now is in a very rich moment because she is already eating porridge and I realized that she gave a jerk; Suddenly from one day to the next, I come to work and when I come back I see it bigger. It's amazing how fast they grow, says the actress.

“He says 'water' and sings a lot, he likes to sing a lot, or rather shout. It is no longer the lump that you just fed and changed your diaper. Right now she reacts and interacts, and it is very rich to discover her personality because already in her look and gestures she begins to show signs of her personality, and that is wonderful,”she says.

Lorena fulfilled a few months ago her dream of adopting her daughter Luciana (today 6 months old) while continuing to undergo cancer treatment.

How is the actress doing regarding her illness? Very well, I practically do not emphasize that anymore because I do not even remember. The truth is that for me it is a situation that I deal with every day, but as another person, maybe diabetic, she deals with her blood checks and her medicines every day, because that is what happens to me. I am better than ever. I feel very good and I am reacting very well to all my treatments, and it is something that no longer hinders me”.

However, she is cautious when talking about the influence of her daughter's love in all this. “I cannot assign or put the weight of my health and well-being on my daughter, because I do not want her to feel that she is my 'right leg' and that, when she takes her flight and puts on her wings and makes her life, I'm going to decline, he says.

Not at all. I need her to know that I will always be very strong and that I am very strong, and that I made the decision that (she) would come into my life not because I needed a complement, but to unite two whole worlds in one. Let her know that I am a happy woman who wants to give her everything I have lived and learned”.
