Mario López became a dad a second time and this time as a boy.

The presenter communicated the news on Monday afternoon through his Twitter account.

It's a boy! Please welcome Dominic López to the world. I couldn't be happier… Courtney and the baby are doing well.”

Gia Francesca, the daughter of Mario López and Courtney Mazza, who turned 3 on Wednesday, now holds the title of older sister.

Since the news was announced that another baby was on the way, both Mario and Courtney have tried to spend as much time as possible with their eldest daughter and have been preparing her for the birth of their little brother.

"She was pointing at her mom's tummy and saying, 'There's a baby in there,'" Lopez told People.

The parents for the second time decided to wait until the baby was born to know its sex and that it would be a surprise.

Mazza, for her part, told People that she hopes to regain her figure and lose the weight of the pregnancy as quickly as it happened after Gia's birth.

“My husband is the most understanding man in the world. He likes my butt… I lost weight very fast the first time and I'm praying the same thing will happen now.”
