I Give You Life: New Televisa Soap Opera

This Monday, in a location located south of Mexico City, the official slate of recordings for the new Televisa telenovela I give you life was given.

The fiction, which is in charge of the producer Lucero Suárez (Falling in love with Ramón, La vecina), has José Ron and Eva Cedeño as the leading couple.

"The story is a beauty," said the 38-year-old actor to the numerous Mexican media that gathered at the scene to cover the event.

Ron, who recently finished filming the new version of Rubí, will bring to life in this story a mechanic who finds out overnight that he has a son.

"It is a couple that has an adoptive son who has leukemia, I am the biological father, I never found out that he had a son so when he finds out it is to save this little boy's life," the actor advanced on the plot that will be addressed in the soap opera.

The melodrama also features the antagonistic performance of Jorge Salinas, who will be the third in disagreement in the love story that Ron and Cedeño will lead.

"It moves me, it moves me, I am excited to be part of a project so full of love," said the Mexican actor during the official slate of the soap opera.

"My character is infertile so he convinces his wife, they leave for adoption and then life plays a trick on them," said the actor about his participation in this story.

Erika Buenfil, Omar Fierro, Nuria Bages, Ricardo Margaleff, José Manuel Lechuga, Óscar Bonfiglio, Camila Selser and Leonardo Herrera, among others, complete the cast.

I Give You Life is the Mexican adaptation of a successful Chilean soap opera of the same name that aired in 2016 on Mega.

The fiction will begin broadcasts in the first quarter of 2020 on Las Estrellas.
