The Telemundo network began promoting on Monday the imminent premiere of the long-awaited second season of Enemigo intimo, the successful superseries that in 2018 were led with great audience success by Fernanda Castillo, Raúl Méndez and the Chilean gallant Matías Novoa.

Fiction will soon return to Hispanic prime time with a renewed cast that includes Betty's NY star Elyfer Torres; Iran Castillo, Manuel Ojeda and the Spanish Aitor Luna, among others.

Recorded in Mexico and Spain, the new season begins with a jump in time of two years. Roxana (Castillo), who can no longer hide under the alias of 'El Profesor', will fight to reestablish the Mil Cumbres cartel and grow her empire; but Alejandro (Méndez), commander of the Anti-Drug Unit, will not be willing to leave her now that he knows that the 'Professor' and his missing sister are the same person. These conflicts between opposing sides will unleash a war of revenge between two blood brothers, now turned into worse enemies.

Precisely Castillo and Méndez are the protagonists of this first trailer that the Spanish-language network revealed last night and in which some of the plots that we can see soon in the second season of this successful story are anticipated.

Along with the trailer, Telemundo also presented an exclusive summary of the first season narrated by its protagonists in which the public will be able to relive all the excitement of the first season two years after its broadcast on the air.

The Spanish-language network has not yet revealed the release date of the second season, but taking into account that the fiction it is going to replace, Operation Pacific, has no more than 60 episodes and 20 have already been broadcast, at the latest in two months will be landing in Hispanic prime time.
