The most famous brazen on television returned through the front door to Hispanic prime time. The new version, now in serial format, of the successful soap opera Rubí that Univision premiered last Tuesday at 10 pm Eastern time, with Camila Sodi, José Ron, Rodrigo Guirao and Kimberly Dos Ramos as protagonists managed to congregate in front of the screens from Univision during its first chapter to 1.7 million total viewers (P2 +) and 749,000 adults 18-49 years.
The plot produced by W Studios comfortably led its broadcast time slot in front of a new episode of El señor de los cielos (Telemundo), which it surpassed by 59% in total viewers (P2 +) and 37% in the age range most coveted by advertisers, the 18 to 49 year old, as Univision was commissioned to share this Wednesday through a press release.
The debut of the new version of Rubí became, in addition, the most watched premiere of a Univision fiction at 10 o'clock at night from The Promised Land (2017) among total viewers (P2 +) and adults 18-49 years and the one that achieved the best audience since Loving Death (2018) in regards to the age range of 18 to 34.

The new version of Rubí revolves around a young journalist named Camila (Ela Velden) who convinces Rubí (Sodi), a mysterious woman who lives in seclusion in a dark mansion, to tell the story of her life and why she isolated herself from the outside world of their own free will.
He learns then that she was an ambitious woman of humble origin determined to use her stunning beauty and feminine wiles to escape poverty without caring if she harmed innocent people to do so.
Rubí airs Monday through Friday on Univision at 10 pm ET.
