All The Celebrities Not Attending The Grammys

We're always excited when award season comes around, and one of our faves is The Grammys. Unfortunately, though, we've got some bad news if you were hoping to see these guys at the event, because it seems like some of our fave celebs are skipping The Grammys. Yeah, these celebrities who are skipping The Grammys are clearly justified in doing so, but we're going to miss them!

We just wanna celebrate all our beloved Grammy nominees together, and get some epic selfies while we're at it.

So who won't be at The Grammys? Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Frank Ocean are all apparently skipping out, like, welp

TBH, we just wish we were a big enough deal for someone to care if we missed an awards show! Feel free to send their invites our way !!

As for the reasoning behind these celebrities who are skipping The Grammys, it really depends on who you're asking. For some, like Frank Ocean, ditching The Grammys is political

Frank Ocean explained to The New York Times,

"It just doesn't seem to be representing very well for people who come from where I come from, and hold down what I hold down… I think the infrastructure of the awarding system and the nomination system and screening system is dated."

Other celebs just don't think The Grammys are especially relevant or worthwhile, like, ouch.

It's especially complicated because Kanye said he wouldn't attend the eventunless Frank Ocean was nominated for one, but he didn't even bother submitting his most recent album for consideration, missing the deadline completely.

Justin, on the other hand, is apparently generally disinterested in the event despite being nominated for 4 grammys. We can't say we're shocked. We still love you, Biebz.
