The host of The High / Low Project and renowned interior designer Sabrina Soto collaborated with UNICEF this year to bring you a stylish gift for the household that also contributes to a good cause.

Soto, who takes pride in participating in this project with an organization that she has supported over the years, has created a colorful quilt with unique patchwork. "I was inspired by [those] photos of the world being held in the palm of one hand," says the designer. “I think everyone has something valuable to give to the world, no matter who we are or where we come from. I was lucky to have a career where I can invest my talents in others… I hope I could bring a little more love to every family and child with whom I could work with."

Children are actually an important part of the design by Soto, who recently became a mom last year. "This collaboration touched my heart," she says. “I love that I can be a small part of a project that makes a huge difference for children around the world. It is very important to teach our children about organizations like UNICEF and motivate them to get involved.”

And although it is suitable for any room in the house, Soto finds the quilt to be perfect for a child's bedroom. "The striking and fun style of this quilt is perfect for a space for children!" advises the decoration expert. “I would incorporate it into a bed with white sheets and bright colored pillows as a decorative accent. I think the touches of luminous yellow and gold accessories would complement the look perfectly."

If you want to give gifts that give back to those in need, opt for charitable gifts like those found on the UNICEF website, which allow you to collaborate with different causes and projects.
