With the holiday season approaching and frequent flyer miles being put to use, People en Español asked Becky G what is her favorite country to visit and she enthusiastically responded with her family's homeland, Mexico.
The singer embraces her roots and shares that her two favorite places to visit are her family's hometowns of Tepatitlan and Temazcal, both in the Mexican state of Jalisco, known for mariachi music and tequila. "These are two places that my family originated from," she says.
In a festive mood, Becky G loves visiting for Las Posadas, the traditional processions and celebrations that take place in Mexico on each of the nine nights leading up to the Christmas holiday. The recording artist is a fan of the holiday's music and, of course, the delicious food served, including her favorite tamales.
