Selena Gomez is living up to her latest single Kill Em With Kindness.
The singer is donating a portion of the proceeds from her North Carolina Revival tour stop to a local LGBT group.
"I am very fortunate to have grown up in a home where I learned from an early age that everyone should be treated equally," Gomez told Billboard.
The announcement comes after North Carolina passed the highly controversial HB2 law, which bans transgenders from using public restrooms that don't match their gender identity.
She added, “I went back and forth on whether I should cancel my concert in North Carolina and ultimately I think what is right for me is to move forward with my show and donate a portion of the proceeds to Equality North Carolina and their effort to defeat this act of discrimination.”
Selena assured fans that the concert venue has gender neutral bathrooms so that everyone can “be welcomed.”
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato canceled their tour dates in North Carolina to stand against the “bathroom bill” along with Maroon 5.
